The Kennedy Center News Magazine

The Kennedy Center asked LSDI to improve the look and increase efficiency in production of their subscription magazine. Design revisions to the publication made it more “magazine-like” and improved readability to accommodate the Kennedy Center’s mature audiences. LSDI reduced the number of fonts to three, and modified the cover, moving the required logo bar to the bottom so it would not conflict with the banner. The table of contents was placed on the back cover, freeing up space on the front cover. A four-column grid was established instead of five to allow for better readability. LSDI worked with the printer to maintain quality control on each issue.
